The Viva Mayr Diet; A skinnier you in two weeks.

The Viva Mayr Diet: a flatter stomach in fourteen days

Dr Harald Stossier is the man behind this diet and its proven to work. It is based on the simple belief that if you sort out your digestove system everthing else (a flat stomach, nicer skin) should fall into place. All you need to do is follow some, if not all, of these stomach flattening rules and some results can even be seen after a few days.
As I said before its better to stick religiously to a few rules than trying to do them all.

Rule 1) Go food shopping.
you'll need:
olive oil
animal protein (chicken, eggs..)
vegetable protein (chickpeas, beans..)
lots of fruit and veg
nuts

Rule 2) Chew properly
try chewing your mouthful 10 - 30 times. It should take at least 30 minutes to eat a meal. Besides when you chew properly you get fuller quicker; best thing for your waistline. It also makes food more nutritious as the more food you chew the more your body absorbs. Even a well chewed big mac is better than a badly chewed salad.

Rule 3) Daily stomach massages
this helps more than excess sit ups; if you have a pot belly that wont shift your small intestines will be inflamed, and this helps digestion and reduces bloating. Just massage your belly with moisturiser 2 hours after dinner. Easy!

Rule 4) No raw after 4
This causes bloating as our digestive system slows down during the day and raw food is harder to digest than cooked food. So for dinner swap salads for veg stir frys or cooked veg. This rule makes the biggest difference of all.

Rule 5) Less Animal protein
Have animal protein three/four times a week, and replace the days you dont have it with quorn or vegetable protein which are easier to digest.

Rule 6) Eat early
try eating all three meals before 7pm as our digestion is slowest after then. This is a tough rule to stick to so eat a big lunch and have a light dinner to compensate, and if you forget just skip it entierly and just have a quick snack.

Rule 7) Walk Walk Walk
Do more exercize even if it is just running more or walking the dogs round the park or riding your bike to the shops. However dont work too hard as stress hormone cortisol encourages fat to sit round our middles

Rule 8) BIG breakfast
this is because our digestive system works hardest in the morning. Eggs, full fat milk, yogurts, museli and fruit salads and even cheese; this may seem unconventional but it will keep you going all morning, prehaps even longer. Try and get all your raws in at breakfast!

Rule 9) Drink more water
8 glasses can be hard to fit in a hectic day, so make sure you carry water with you at all times; try having to refill your water bottle at least 3 times if it is 500ml during the day. And in the morning have a cup of tea, the hot water will encourage good digestion, and stop drinking 15 minutes before a hot meal.

Rule 10) Eat stress free
easy; the more stressed you are the more you will eat and the faster you will eat

Rule 11) Go sugar free
Sugar is the enemy when it comes to a flat stomach. Limit the amout of sugar you intake to only the weekend. You wont even miss it during the week after a while.

Rule 12) Have smaller portions
Unless you already eat small portions, try the 10% rule. Leave 10% of your food on your plate, go and do something else (tidy up, read a book) and come back to it in 10 - 30 minutes. When you get back to your food you'll realise you are full.

Rule 13) More Oil
Try eating fish oil suppliments (pills which help fat burn) and cooking food in sunflower and vegetable oil. Look out for foods with omega-3 and sprinkle salt onto most foods. Oils make our skin and hair look nice!

The most important rules are chew properly, no raw after four, dont eat stressed and eat as early as possible. If you cant stick to all the rules stick to just them!

lets meet fatty fatty bum bum

THEN: 100lbs

I stand at a grand 159cm if you are wondering.
I have put on 15lbs during the past few months, and it has shown. My thighs no longer have a gap, and they now produce a ripple effect when I slap them. Its not even funny, I've gone up from a size 0/2 to a size 4/6. I only have hipbones if I lie down in the bath and prod them. The Christmas and Winter months made me forget about any diet and I ate what I wanted, and now I'm no longer skinny :\

But LENT is here, and I've given up bread and snacking on unhealthy foods. Ugh its not fair how have I slid backwards I'm almost at step One again! AGH.

I know I know I bloody well know

I havent been on for ages, but after Christmas and New Years, the lbs have piled on, and now I'm 119lbs.
Back to the start :|

Christmas time, mistletoe and wine. Oh, and size 2 jeans that wont zip up, and size 3 jeans that leave a lovely muffin top. Whats a girl to do?
Well firstly, if you're used to eating like a horse, just know when to say no. Simply add less food to your plate at the work or school cantine. Okay that sounds so obvious but people never do! They see that flapjack they want to eat and BOINK before they know it they've eaten it and think 'well what the hell, i may aswell have a fat day'
so yeah, remember I had that blog that said wear something thats a total reminder?
like a bracelet with your goal weight in lbs on it (e.g. 110)?
that helps because you'll see it when you reach down and grab your cake.
Also, if you exercise at home, rather than at the gym, set an alarm to remind yourself. I did that today and it really helped! Thirdly, CARBS.

ooh scary.

Well carbs are for ENERGY - so eat them in the morning. No carbs after 2pm, unless you're going to the gym after then, although exercising in the morning is what clever people do (but if you dont have the time then do it straight after work or school before dinner.

she's not really that much thinner than me, but I like her outfit.

eat a sandwich.

Is it just me, or do you look at this photo and think 'GOD, she needs a sandwhich.'
More than a sandwhich; one of those tasty layered ones with the meat,  cheese, bread, salad, more meat, more cheese, more bread..
And maybe four family packs of Doritos, y'know, just as a garnish.

The worrying stuff is that girls on here actually want to be this thin. Is that what you want? To look like this? To trip on the sidewalk and break both your legs in half? To be honest the only reason I'd want to be this thin is either if I was part of an elite burgarling squad and had to fit through cracks, or so I could go to McDonalds every single day because I'd NEED to.

Which gets me onto this: be realistic.
You will never look like this, ever, unless you choose not to eat for the next few years (which I dont know how you will manage over the holidays). Besides I'd say you were pretty sick if that was the case. If you want to get skinny try aiming for this:
